During the production of several drawbars for our storeloaders an incorrect pre-processing step was carried out. As a result the weld connection on part of these drawbars may not be fully penetrated. In rare cases this can cause the drawbar to fail during transport moving or other use.
This recall concerns storeloaders with chassis numbers 12025 to 12442
Production years 2021 to 2024
If your storeloader falls within this range we urgently request that you present the drawbar to your dealer or sales point for inspection and replacement. Breston will replace the drawbar free of charge. A defective drawbar may pose safety risks so we ask you to follow up on this notification as soon as possible.
Drawbars marked with a ‘1’ next to the handle have already been reinforced with a new weld and can be used safely.
